We are a small engineering sales company that imports products from a Japanese manufacturer and resells them. We are their sole distributor for the US and Mexico. We are looking for a person capable of communicating with customers by phone and email. Our customers are universities and corporations. Specific duties include the following:
Maintain good customer relations and accurate customer records.
Receiving customer orders by phone and email and placing them by email with manufacturer in Japan.
Receiving weekly shipments from Japan and preparing them for shipment by UPS to customers.
Preparing invoices and keeping records of payments.
Preparing reports and certain financial records (no accounting knowledge needed).
Communicating by email with the manufacturer (in English).
Preparation of quotes and follow-up.
Willingness to learn the software associated with our business.
A 32 hour work week, Friday off.

Pay: $42,000.00 per year
